Substances That Can Lead to a DUID in Idaho

According to Idaho Code § 18-8004, a person is considered "under the influence" if their ability to drive is impaired in any identifiable way due to drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicating substances. Common substances that can result in a DUID charge include the following. 

• Marijuana: Marijuana remains illegal in Idaho; its presence in your system can lead to a DUID charge if impairment is observed.
